Welcome to Within Images Studio. Here, I would like to showcase some of my images and to blog about them.  There are several main sections to this site such as Blog, Portfolio and Gallery. Within those section, I further section them for easy referencing. The following are brief description on what each segment represents.

BLOG
A description of the kind of blogs that I will be talking about, please refer below:

  • General
    This is mainly a blog about anything about photography. Apart from general photography talk,  I will also discuss DIY projects and maybe a touch of tutorial. However I would like to point out that I am not going to do a step by step type of instruction. You can find plenty of those here on the web and they are way more qualified than me. So, I will mainly discuss concepts.
  • Places
    These are the places that I have had the privilege to visit. Images will include landscapes and travel pictures. I find travel photography most interesting because I love to explore new cultures and experience new landscapes.
  • People
    Here is where I will talk and show the images of people that I have (or will) photographed. I work both with natural (sun) as well as artificial lights (strobes etc). Sometimes, I will combine both to make the images I envisioned.
  • Still Life
    I enjoy creating pictures. This is where I hone my lighting skill, work out concepts and perhaps throw in some special effects to make interesting product still life images.
  • Black and White
    Black and white images convey emotion, mood and mystery. They also define details where color images do not. I love colors but there are times when color gets in the way of telling the story.
